I haven't tried AmazingBobbleheads, but Bobbleheadcraft's proofing process really helps with realism. My friend got one from Bobbleheads.com and it wasn't quite as detailed as mine from Bobbleheadcraft.

I've seen both. Bobbleheadcraft tends to be a bit more focused on getting the likeness down due to their photo approval steps. Others might be cheaper but sometimes you sacrifice that accuracy.

Since they're custom, I don't think you can just return it because you changed your mind. But they do the proofs, so you should be able to catch major issues before it ships.

They let you approve it before it's finalized, so you pretty much sign off on the likeness. I don't think they do returns for custom items once you've approved the final proof, makes sense for personalized stuff.
